Why Luann de Lesseps will wear three wedding dresses

Luann de Lesseps‘ wedding day style will be just as over-the-top as her 8-carat engagement rock — and the latest season of “The Real Housewives of New York.”

As celebrity wedding gown designer Randi Rahm told Page Six, de Lesseps will wear multiple dresses on her big day with fiancé Thomas D’Agostino Jr. later this year.

“She will not only wear one, not two, but three appropriate pieces. It’s New Year’s Eve, it’s her wedding and it’s Tom’s birthday,” Rahm shared.

A longtime friend of de Lesseps, New York-based Rahm says she never urged the 51-year-old bride-to-be to utilize her services.

“I didn’t want her to feel pressured, because we’re friends, that I should make her dress,” Rahm explained. “I just let it happen organically and she said, ‘You know, Randi, I want you to do my dresses. And I not only love you, but I love the dresses.”

Though de Lesseps won’t debut the dresses until Dec. 31, Rahm teased that the designs will reflect the reality star’s personality.

“I think she’s very stately, elegant and carries herself so magnificently. That’s the kind of wedding gown she’ll be wearing, that will enhance and project that classy, beautiful, long, tall body,” Rahm said. “In terms of the other dresses, New Year’s Eve is fun, fun, fun and bubbles and just lots of happiness.”

De Lesseps’ and D’Agostino’s lavish nuptials will take place at Palm Beach’s luxe Cafe Boulud. This is the second marriage for the Countess, who split from husband Alexandre de Lesseps in 2009. The former couple shares two children.

Rahm is also designing the bridesmaids’ dresses. “Their dresses are gorgeous and each one fits each one’s personality and body,” she said.
