Several art exhibitions to take residence on High Line


You can’t call yourself a proper West Chelsea/High Line residence without art.

At 500 W. 21st St., a luxury condo project, developer Sherwood Equities has curated a batch of exhibition spaces totaling 5,235 square feet.

The largest space is for a branch of Tokyo’s Sato Sakura Museum, which showcases modern Japanese painting, with 2,250 square feet.

Washburn Gallery, moving from West 57th Street, features 19th and 20th Century American artists. Galleria Ca’d’Oro showcases contemporary Italian works. Prazis International Art Gallery highlights Latin American modern and contemporary.

YSP Gallery will show ceramics by South Korean potter Young Sook Park.
